A Message from the Principal

Bristnall Hall Academy is a school that puts the happiness and fulfilment of its students at the top of its priorities.

Bristnall Hall is an inclusive school that seeks to challenge and inspire its students so that no child is left behind, nor is any child held back.

Bristnall Hall supports a strong academic curriculum, supplemented by a wide ranging extra-curricular offer and enrichment activities that enables all students a chance to shine and progress.

We have taken a traditional curriculum and customised it to meet the needs of our students in order to prepare them for the choices to be made at the key ages of 14 and 16. It allows us to follow a strict academic route with some students, whilst supplying a mix of academic, applied and vocational route for others so that all needs are met and all students leave with acknowledged, accepted qualifications. An increasing number of students are now awarded Apprenticeships with local firms as an alternative route to the many who continue education at University.
We combine traditional educational values with creativity, innovation and firm discipline in order to give every student a solid foundation in order to flourish and enter the world of work with the skills, attitudes and qualifications necessary for a successful adult life.

We are a small close knit community where students have an identity, are secure and safe. Bristnall Hall Academy will go out of its way to provide for and meet individual needs and aspirations.
At Bristnall Hall Academy, students come first. Our motto of Nurture – Inspire – Achieve gives an indication of what we aim to do for our students.
In 2012 we are celebrating 100% pass rate at GCSE level where 90% of students gained 5 or more A* - C’s. Indeed, 75% gained 8 or more A* - C’s and we achieved 53% at the 5A* CEM level. Our ‘A’ level results were just as impressive with 100% pass rate at A2.

We believe in ‘Achievement for All’. We are an Academy that understands that we have a responsibility to meet the education needs of all of our students. We endeavour to provide the best environment for each child, promoting development in understanding and social morality alongside his or her peers.
The choice of school is one of the most important decisions a parent/carer will face, knowing your child is taught in a safe, caring environment by highly skilled specialist teachers is why many parents choose Bristnall Hall Academy for their child.

Together we will move forward

Yours faithfully

S. W. Venross
Principal
